OKEECHOBEE -- The Okeechobee County Board of Commissioners honored Ken Kenworthy, who recently retired as Okeechobee County Superintendent of Schools, at their March 28 meeting. Kenworthy was first appointed as superintendent in Okeechobee in 2011. He started in.the district in 1989, working his way up from a classroom teacher, and held several administrative posts for Okeechobee schools before he applied and received the superintendent's job.
