Gracie Gamiotea sacks Port St. Lucie’s quarterback before she can cross the line of scrimmage in the Okeechobee Lady Brahmans JV flag football game on April 2. The JV team would go on to win 28-0. Lady Brahman pass rushers were relentless against Port St. Lucie while the Okeechobee offense ran a variety of sweeps and quick passes to take advantage of their speed vs. the Port St. Lucie defense. Okeechobee’s varsity flag football team won 6-0 against Port St. Lucie as well, thanks to a late score after the two teams had battled to something of a stalemate throughout the game.
