Florida’s natural landscapes are stunning but fragile. Sprawling development and decisions focused on short-term gains are straining our waterways, ecosystems, and agricultural heritage. What we choose to do today will either protect the natural foundations of our state or undermine them.

This is why the Dr. John M. DeGrove Webinar Series is so important. Named in honor of Florida’s “Father of Growth Management,” this free, statewide educational series empowers Floridians to make informed, forward-thinking decisions about how and where we grow.

Our webinars provide critical tools and training to:

  • Protect Florida’s natural lands and water resources.
  • Equip planners, attorneys, and decision-makers with CE-accredited information for resilient, sustainable development.
  • Help everyday citizens understand and influence policies that shape their communities.
  • Shine a light on legislation that could either amplify or silence local voices.
  • Connect thousands of advocates across Florida with a shared vision of smart growth and conservation.

These webinars are more than education; they are a catalyst for change. They give voice to local communities, strengthen leadership, and connect people across Florida with a shared vision of a better future. You can find the upcoming series of webinars here: https://1000fof.org/upcoming-webinars/

We invite you to support the DeGrove Webinar Series and demonstrate your leadership in protecting Florida’s future.

With sincere gratitude,

Paul Owens
