OKEECHOBEE -- On Aug. 19, members of the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force, Okeechobee City Police Department, Homeland Security, and the U.S. Secret Service executed a probable cause search warrant for the forgery case originating from inside 4122 S.E. Hwy 441, Lot #15.

During a search inside the home, counterfeit and damaged currency, along with a copier believed to be used to make the fake money, was located and seized as evidence. Additionally, found was 16.0 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

The targets of the warrants, Jason and Rose Beale, were charged with trafficking in methamphetamine 14 grams or more but less than 28 grams, possession of paraphernalia, forgery, forging bank bills, possession of forged notes, and damaging bank bills.

No bond is set on either suspect due to FTA (failure to appear in court) warrants out of Georgia.
