OKEECHOBEE - Recently, the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office received a fantastic surprise from Randy and Suzanne Spillers, who presented Pogey's gift cards for the sworn personnel.

Major Michael Hazellief is pictured with Spillers on the day of the drop-off.

"Our employees are continually blessed by the show of support and encouraging words of our Okeechobee community. We thank you for that, and Mr. and Mrs. Spillers, thank you. This unexpected gesture was remarkable. I mean, who doesn't love a good Dougie Melt or Dougie Burger from Pogeys! " said a representative from the OCSO.
