OCSO Wolfpack does DUI checkpoint

On Aug. 22, 2025, deputies with the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a DUI enforcement patrol (Wolf Pack) in Okeechobee County.
This operation was conducted on all roads throughout Okeechobee County. The following are the statistics from the operation:
Warnings
Driving while drivers license suspended without knowledge, 1
Driving without lights for hours of low visibility/darkness, 12
Expired license plate, 1
Failure to stop at a stop sign, 5
Failure to maintain a single lane, 1
Faulty equipment, 13
Following too closely, 1
Passing in a no-passing zone, 1
Unlawful speed, 11
No tag attached to the vehicle, 1
Failure to stop for a red light, 2
Blocking a crosswalk, 1
Bicycle wrong side of roadway, 2
Improper display of license plate, 1
Citations/arrest
Driving while drivers license suspended without knowledge, 1
Failure to stop at a stop sign, 1
No driver's license, 1
Unlawful speed, 2
