OKEECHOBEE- Okeechobee freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors are all getting ready for the upcoming Homecoming parade and bonfire at Okeechobee High School on Oct. 19.
The parade is set to start at 6 p.m. on Oct. 19. Groups from each class are currently putting the finishing touches on their Homecoming floats.
Directly after the parade, students will gather at Okeechobee High School for the pep rally and bonfire. The pep rally starts at 7 p.m., and bonfire is lit at 8 p.m.
The Brahmans will take on the Lake Placid Dragons this week, with kickoff at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20. But before the game the school will announce this year’s Homecoming king and queen.
