The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
• Allen Timmons, 42, Southeast 23rd Court, was arrested July 8 by OCSO and charged with DUI after an anonymous caller claimed his vehicle was slowing down and speeding up while driving between two lanes. His breath test results were reportedly below 0.08, so he was asked to provide a urine sample. Bond was set at $500.
• Katarena Cowart, 18, Northeast 22nd Avenue, was arrested July 7 and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid after a traffic stop performed by the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force for reportedly passing in a no passing zone. Bond was set at $5,000.
• Thad Chandler, 27, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested July 7 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for allegedly running a stop sign. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Don Morgan Jr., 57, Southeast 57th Drive, was arrested July 7 by ONTF and charged with trafficking methamphetamine. Bond was set at $60,000.
• Joseph Hawkins, 31, Arizona, was arrested July 19 by OPD and charged with three counts possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $20,000.
• David Crocitto, 34, at large, was arrested July 10 by OCSO and charged with battery and battery by strangulation. Bond was set at $11,000.
• Crystal Elliot, 40, Southeast 67th Drive, was arrested July 11 by OCSO and charged with possession of fenatnyl and trespass. Bond was set at $4,000.
• Ajala-Ernest Jahi Laguerre, 25, Northeast Fourth Avenue, was arrested July 9 by OCSO and charged with DUI. His breath test results were reportedly below 0.08, so he was asked to provide a urine sample. Bond was set at $500.
• Jeffrey Hultman, 59, Northeast 82nd Avenue, was arrested July 14 by OCSO and charged with resisting arrest with violence. Bond was set at $5,000.
