OKEECHOBEE -- The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Nichole Murphy, 34, Port St. Lucie, was arrested Dec. 7 by OCSO and charged with possession of heroin and resiting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $500.

• Jose Alvarez, 35, Port St. Lucie, was arrested Dec. 7 by OCSO and charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest  without violence, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license. Bond was set at $23,000.

• Stevie Brantley, 27, Tucker Ridge, was arrested Dec. 10 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond to be set by the judge.

• Justin Jenkins, 37, Southeast 11th Avenue, was arrested by OCPD and charged with driving without a license/habitual offender and leaving the scene of an accident with damage. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Jerome Harris, 31, Southwest Third Avenue, was arrested Dec. 12 by OCPD and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Willie Jones, 40, Northwest 42nd Street, was arrested Dec. 11 by OCSO and charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon and improper exhibition of a handgun. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Brandon Mitchell, 40, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Dec. 11 by OCSO and charged with grand theft. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Joseph Hawkins, 32, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Dec. 13 by OCSO and charged with battery inmate on inmate. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Javas Jones, 30, Northeast 13th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 13 by OCSO and charged with sexual battery on a 16-17 year old victim. Bond was set at $25,000.

• Jeffrey Riffey, 51, Northwest Third Lane, was arrested Dec. 13 by OCSO and charged with burglary with assault or battery. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Ma Diocelina Orozco Zepeda, 42, Okeechobee, was arrested Dec. 14 by OCSO and charged with child abuse without great bodily harm. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Kimberly Peaden, 51, Okeechobee, was arrested Dec. 14 by OCSO and charged with child abuse without great bodily harm. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Micahel Beckman, 48, Lorida, was arrested De. 15 by OCSO and charged with grand theft auto and trafficking of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $90,000.

• Kimie Fulton, 58, Lorida, was arrested Dec. 15 by OCSO and charged with possession of marijuana resin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $11,000.

• Colton Lamb, 25, Northwest 106th Street, was arrested Dec. 15 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Ricardo Lane, 56, Northeast Third Street, was arrested Dec. 15 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Keith Woods, 60, Northwest 80th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 15 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl. Bond was set at $10,000.
