Okeechobee Arrest Report
The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
• Jason Cooper, 45, Northwest Riverside, was arrested Dec. 16 by OCPD and charged with credit card fraud. Bond was set at $5,000.
• William Thomas, 56, Northwest 42nd Avenue, was arrested Dec. 18 by OCPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,000.
• Alfonso Mejia, 54, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Dec. 19 by OCPD and charged with driving without a license/third or subsequent offense and expired license. Bond was set at $3,000.
• Moises Nieves, 38, Vero Beach, was arrested Dec. 19 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.
• Salomon Serrano Jr., 28, Okeechobee, was arrested Dec. 19 by OCSO and charged with battery and hindering communication with law enforcement. Bond was set at $4,000.
• Steven Albritton, 31, Southeast 33rd Street, was arrested Dec. 20 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary and petit theft. Bond was set at $5,500.
• Jose Alvarez, 35, Port St. Lucie, was arrested Dec. 20 by OCSO and charged with driving without a license/habitual offender. Bond was set at $2,500.
• Servando Medrano, 34, Northwest 102nd Street, was arrested Dec. 20 by OCSO and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Jose Perez, 24, Southeast Eighth Street, was arrested Dec. 20 by OCPD and charged with child neglect causing great bodily harm. Bond was set at $75,000.
• Elizabeth Rampey, 35, Northwest 33rd Avenue, was arrested Dec. 20 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary and petit theft. Bond to be set by the judge.
• Martha Vandiver, 42, Northeast Fifth Trail, was arrested Dec. 20 by OCSO and charged with grand theft and fraud. Bond was set at $5,000.
