The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
Malcolm Outerbridge, 26, Southeast Fifth Street, was arrested Feb. 20 by OCSO and charged with grand theft of a firearm. Bond was set at $5,000.
Ricky Garza, 35, Lake Placid, was arrested Feb. 20 by OCSO and charged with lewd and lascivious assault on a victim age 12-16. Bond was set at $50,000.
Derrick Cooper, 48, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Feb. 20 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence. Bond was set at $15,000.
Mark Cabrera, 42, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Feb. 21 by OCSO and charged with forgery and grand theft. Bond was set at $5,000.
Christie Shockley, 34, Northwest 36th Avenue, was arrested Feb. 21 by OCSO and charged with DUI, introduction of contraband into a detention facility and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $10,500.
Dustin Strahlman, 25, Central Boulevard, was arrested Feb. 22 by OCSO and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and driving without a license. Bond was set at $2,750.
Ulysses Aguirre, 31, Northwest 81st Court, was arrested Feb. 23 by OCSO and charged with child abuse. Bond was set at $5,000.
Leonard McFadden, 17, Northeast 168th Street, was arrested Feb. 23 by OCSO and charged with battery on detention staff. He was transferred to the custody of the DOJJ.
Paige LeDuc, 25, Northwest Second Street, was arrested Feb. 22 by OCSO and charged with sexual battery on a victim 16 or 17 years old. Bond was set at $50,000.
Candice Nesby, 36, Northeast 11th Street, was arrested Feb. 24 by OCSO and charged with driving without a license/habitual offender. Bond was set at $2,500.
Joann Crudup, 32, Northwest Third Street, was arrested Feb. 24 by OCPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine and driving without a license/habitual offender. Bond was set at $7,500.
Melissa Gage, 38, Lake Placid, was arrested Feb. 24 by OCSO and charged with four counts violation of probation on felony charges. Bond has not been set.
James Janata, 41, at large, was arrested Feb. 24 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary of a vehicle and petit theft. Bond was set at $5,500.
Corey Taylor, 32, Zephyrhills, was arrested Feb. 24 by OCSO and charged with violation of probation on a felony charge. He is being held without bond.
Walter Mitchell, 61, LA., Was arrested Feb. 26 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.
Leon Perez, 38, No address, was arrested Feb. 26 by OCSO and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $20,000.
