The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Duane Thomas, 49, Northwest Seventh Street, was arrested August 3 by OCSO Deputy Adam Ziegler and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $20,000.
• Juan Antonio Amador Lopez was arrested August 8 and charged with sexual battery of a victim under the age of 12 by an adult and resisting arrest.
• Calina Kimla, 34, Southeast 36^th Avenue, was arrested August 9 by ONTF and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence. Bond was set at $1,000.
• Jessica Nickelson, 28, Northwest 250^th Street, was arrested August 10 by OCSO Deputy Bryan Holden and charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 years or older. Bond was set at $5,000.
• Connor McCurdy, 30, LaBelle, was arrested August 2 and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.
• Nathan Askue, 32, 25^th Street, was arrested August 6 by OCSO Deputy Jennifer Fairtrace and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $750.
• Israel Zorrilla Rodriguez, 40, Southeast 147^th Avenue, was arrested August 10 by OCSO Deputy Adam Ziegler and charged with DUI with property damage. Bond was set at $2,000.
