The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Jose Perez, 36, Northwest 45th Terrace, was arrested on August 29, by OCSO and charged with DUI and a misdemeanor of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license. Bond was set at $1,000.

• James Benniefield, 67, Northeast 18th Terrace, was arrested on September 5, by OCSO Deputy E. Esquivel and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Cody Warner, 32, Northwest 39th Avenue, was arrested on September 5, by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Carmelo Velez, 37, Southeast 28th Street, was arrested on September 5, by ONTF and charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of fentanyl with intent to sell/distribute. Bond was set at $40,000.

• Brianna Crum Duffield, 20, Highway 98 North, was arrested on September 6, by OCSO Deputy N. Jones and charged with criminal mischief $1000 or more. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Jeannie Rhoden, 54, Southeast 19th Terrace, was arrested on September 6, by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Pedro Castaneda, 68, Northwest 20th Avenue, was arrested on September 6, by OCSO Deputy R. Hernandez and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Richard Tucker, 54, Southeast 27th Street, was arrested on September 7, by OCSO Deputy B. Rhodes and charged with child abuse without great bodily harm and a misdemeanor of battery. Bond was set at $6,500.

• Aysia Jones, 25, Northeast Second Street, was arrested on September 8, by OCSO Deputy C. Cabrera and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/distribute and a misdemeanor of possession/use of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $41,000.

• Melody Urbina, 27, Reservation Road Northeast, was arrested on September 8, by OCSO Deputy C. Cabrera and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell/distribute. Urbina was also charged with two misdemeanor charges of possession/use of drug paraphernalia and permitting an unauthorized person to drive. Bond was set at $41,500.

• Maria Lugo Torres, 18, Highway 441 Southeast, was arrested on September 10, by OCSO Deputy J. Mercer and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana resin. Bond was set at $22,500.

• Joshua Duke, 40, Northwest 27th Avenue, was arrested on September 11, by OCSO Deputy K. Reno and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Stacey Jablonski, 34, Southwest Third Street, was arrested on September 11, by OCSO Deputy K. Reno and charged with possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor charge of driving while license suspended with knowledge. Bond was set at $5,250.

• Matthew Grogg, 40, Southwest 40th Terrace, was arrested on September 13, by OCSO Deputy J. Fairtrace and charged with failure to remain at the scene of an accident with injury on a public or private road. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Brad Clay, 34, Greenvile, was arrested on September 12, by ONTF and charged with selling a schedule II controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell/distribute. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Ramon Rivero, 53, Southeast 59th Drive, was arrested on September 12, by OCSO Deputy G. Greseth and charged with possession of methamphetamine and two counts of possession of ammo by a Florida convicted felon. Rivero was also charged with a misdemeanor charge of possession/use of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $36,000.

• Vlasmir Hernandez Gonzalez, 29, Northwest 11th Avenue, was arrested on September 13, by OCSO Deputy D. Abdelquader and charged with committing domestic battery by strangulation and burglary with assault/battery. Bond was set at $75,000.
