The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
Steve Futch, 41, Northwest 37th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 12 by OCSO Deputy Jennifer Fairtrace and charged with escape, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $27,500.
Telitha Edinger, 36, Northwest eighth Avenue, was arrested Dec. 11 by ONTF and charged with sale of narcotics within 1,000 feet of a specified area. Bond was set at $100,000.
Carolyn Burdeshaw, 61, Southwest 18th Street, was arrested Dec. 14 by OCSO Deputy Ricardo Hernandez and charged with battery on a person 65 years old or older. Bond was set at $2,500.
Andrew Smith, 57, Fort Pierce, was arrested Dec. 9 by OCSO Deputy victor Cabrera and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $750.
Katelyn Desmond, 21, Northwest 12th Street, was arrested Dec. 13 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with DUI with property damage. Bond was set at $1,000.
James Moore, 67, Wauchula, was arrested Dec. 13 by OCSO Deputy Isobel Jean and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to DUI testing. Bond was set at $2,000.
Jose Mateo, 26, Indiantown, was arrested Dec. 14 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,500.
Macy Cox was arrested Dec. 16 and charged with DUI with a passenger under 18.
Thad Chandler, 31, Northwest 11th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 16 by OCSO Deputy Gabe Greseth and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set $3,000.
Jeremy Jones, 38, Southwest 13th Street, was arrested Dec. 18 by OCSO Deputy Victor Cabrera and charged with fleeing law enforcement, driving without a license and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $17,000.
Christopher Willis, 39, Northeast 64th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 19 by OCSO Deputy Todd Addington and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
