The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
• Imillakiyo Osceola, 28, Reservation Road, was arrested July 26 by OCSO Deputy D. Peters and charged with battery on law enforcement and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $16,000.
• Tiffany Platt, 39, Fort Pierce, was arrested July 27 by OCSO Deputy K. Lowe and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and failure to remain at the scene of an accident involving injury. Bond was set at $30,000.
• William Kurty, 18, New Smyrna, was arrested July 27 by OCSO Deputy N. Conroy and charged with three counts battery on detention staff. Bond was set at $15,000.
• Amanda Bennett, 43, Southeast 35th Avenue, was arrested July 28 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of alprazolam, possession of clonazepam and two counts possession of a New Legend Drug. Bond was set at $13,000.
• Francisco Delato Jr., 27, Southeast 12th Avenue, was arrested July 29 by OCSO Deputy A. Burrell and charged with burglary and aggravated battery. Bond was set at $20,000.
• Alma Armenta, 29. Northwest 106th Street, was arrested July 24 by OCPD Officer M. Petit-Homme and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to testing. Bond was set at $1,500.
• Melanie Jones, 34, Northeast 42nd Terrace, was arrested July 26 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.
• Fatima Renteria, 42, was arrested July 27 by OCSO Deputy D. Peters and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to testing. Bond was set at $2,000.
• Deagen Osceola, 21, Grady Road, was arrested July 26 by OCSO Deputy Vincent Cabrera and charged with DUI and refusal to submit to testing. Bond was set at $1,500.
