The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC), Criminal Action Team (CAT) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
• Armilia Sheppard, 25, Northeast 14th Avenue, was arrested August 21 by OCSO Deputy Dalton Pitts and charged with unarmed burglary. Bond was set at $10,000.
• Shannon Rosemann, 45, at large, was arrested August 23 by OCSO Deputy Todd Addington and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,750.
• Rjay Armstrong, 43, Clewiston, was arrested August 23 by OCSO Deputy N. Conroy and charged with harvesting an endangered plant without a permit and petit theft. Bond was set at $3,500.
• Luis James, 27, Northwest 46th Avenue, was arrested August 22 by OCPD Officer R. Marrero and charged with habitually driving without a license. Bond was set at $5,000.
• Cody Adams, 29, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested August 22 by OCPD Officer B. Benjamin and charged with resisting an officer with violence, disorderly conduct and battery on a law enforcement officer. Bond was set at $100,000.
• Marvin Francis Chilel Ramirez, 19, Southeast 12th Avenue, was arrested August 22 by OCPD Officer A. Davis and charged with domestic battery by strangulation. Bond was set at $50,000.
• Rogelio Lazo, 61, Northwest 19th Avenue, was arrested August 26 by OCSO Deputy R. Hernandez and charged with molestation of a victim under 12 years old. Bond was set at $100,000.
• Patricia Olivas, 43, Northwest 42nd Avenue, was arrested August 25 by OCSO Deputy Adam Ziegler and charged with battery and robbery by sudden snatching/no weapon. Bond was set at $3,500.
• Jennifer Richardson, 44, Southwest Ninth Street, was arrested August 26 by OCSO Deputy Misei Esquivel and charged with resisting an officer with violence, refusal to submit to DUI testing, DUI and aggravated battery on law enforcement. Bond was set at $27,000.
• Anthony Leiva, 18, Northwest 22nd Place, was arrested August 27 by OCSO Deputy Vincent Cabrera and charged with burglary of a conveyance. Bond was set at $2,500.
