OKEECHOBEE — An Okeechobee School Bus was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Thursday, Sept. 11. The school board issued the following statement on their Facebook page regarding the accident:
“Earlier this afternoon, an Okeechobee County School bus was involved in a single-vehicle accident. No students were on board the bus at that time. The driver sustained no injuries.
We are working closely with the Transportation Department to ensure any delays with today’s bus routes are communicated to parents promptly. Middle school bus routes should not be affected at this time.”
