The Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office is making goodie bags in preparation for its Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 5. Come out and watch the Torch Run. You’ll be able to see the runners and athletes on State Road 70 from Southwest Fifth Avenue east to U.S. 441 and then right on U.S. 441 all the way to Publix. It would be great to see everyone lining the streets cheering the runners on. For more information, contact the sheriff’s office at 863-763-3117.
