OKEECHOBEE --The Battle of Okeechobee Re-Enactment was held Saturday and will continue Sunday, Feb. 23, at the Okeechobee Battlefield Historic State Park, 3500 S.E. 38th Ave. Entry fee is $10 per vehicle. The event opens at 10 a.m.
Visitors can tour the army and Seminole camps, pony rides, see a live reptile show and enjoy food and vendor booths.
The program starts at 1:30 p.m. with the re-enactment at 2 p.m.
