OKEECHOBEE – Registration for Okeechobee County 4-H Summer camps will open May 1.

H2O Environmental Education Camp will be held the weeks of June 5-9; June 19-23; June 26-30; and July 17-21.

Trek through Florida History Camp will be held the weeks of June 12-16 and July 24-28.

Fishing and Conservation Camp will be held the week of June 12-16.

Farm to Plate Agriculture Camp will be held July 5, 6 and 7.

Crafts with Friends Camp will be held July 10-14.

Shooting Sports and Conservation Camp will be held July 10-14.

Horse Camp will be held June 26-30.

Teen counselor applications will be available April 14.

Summer camp registration packets for youth campers will be available May 1, at the Okeechobee County Extension Office, 458 U.S. Highway 98 N.

The camps are open to Okeechobee County residents. (Camp participants must be at least 8 years old as of Sept. 1, 2022.)

Fees for H2O, History, Craft, Fishing and Shooting Sports camps are $150 per week.

Fee for Agriculture camp is $100. Fee for Horse Camp is $168. (Horse campers bring their own horses.)
