Now reopened to public after brief closure for construction work
SOUTH BAY — The South Florida Water Management District plans to re-open the A-1 Flow Equalization Basin (FEB) to public recreation starting Saturday, April 6.
SFWMD owns or has easements on more than 1 million acres of public land. Following state law, the District allows public access on as much of its land as possible and seeks to expand public recreational opportunities whenever possible.
