OKEECHOBEE — Cindy Passwaters Maynard gifted Mrs. Campbell her Okeechobee Junior High School (now Yearling Middle School) girls' basketball jacket from 1976!
Cindy was part of OJHS' first class when the school opened in 1976.
OJHS changed its name to Yearling Middle School in the early 90s (we are still researching the exact year - so if you know, let us know!), when the school was restructured to have grades 6-8.
Thank you, Cindy, for this amazing piece of history!
Mrs. Campbell loved being able to wear this in the same middle school halls 50 years later!
