OKEECHOBEE — The Big O Teen Anglers had their March 30 tournament on Lake Okeechobee out of Okee-Tantie. It was a beautiful day for fishing. Twelve out of 16 of the anglers caught fish this time around, with only one catching a limit.
The anglers had 16 anglers catch 19 bass with a total weight of 38.29 pounds. The largest bass caught was 3.97 lbs. and was caught by Tyler Scott of the 15-19 age group.
The next tournament will be held on April 27, out of Okee-Tantie.
11-14 age group
• 1st Brian Holtkamp 3.74 lbs. and Big Fish 3.74 lbs.
• 2nd Lane Davis 1.72 lbs.
15-19 age group
• 1st Tyler Scott 11.04 lbs. and Big Fish 3.97 lbs.
• 2nd David Miller 9.17 lbs.
• 3rd Alex Figueroa 3.04 lbs.
