"Fentanyl brings violent crime, misery, and even death to communities. FDLE takes the threats this synthetic drug poses to Floridians seriously in every corner of the state. The State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication (SAFE) program has provided dozens of Florida law enforcement agencies with the tools and resources necessary to take this lethal drug off the street," said FDLE Fort Myers Special Agent in Charge Eli Lawson.

Both suspects were transported to the Okeechobee County Jail and are held without bond.
