OKEECHOBEE -- Okeechobee County Schools is pleased to announce that recent water testing at school sites found no elevated lead levels of concern.
The testing was conducted following a recommendation from the Okeechobee Utility Authority that all structures, including all residential and commercial buildings, built before 2014 and served by OUA test their water for lead. In response, the District tested the water at every school site meeting those criteria.
