LABELLE — Carlson Memorial United Methodist Church, Operation Backpack program has been selected as the first beneficiary of the LaBelle Winn-Dixie Bloomin’ 4 Good Program for the period of Oct. 12-Nov. 30.
The Bloomin’ 4 Good Program, which is launching in October 2021, is an easy way for shoppers to give back. Every $12.99 Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold supports a hunger organization local to the Winn-Dixie in which it was purchased.
Carlson was selected as the first beneficiary by local store leadership at the Winn-Dixie located at 960 South Main Street, in LaBelle. Carlson will receive a $1 donation for every $12.99 Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet purchased at this Winn-Dixie location during this period. All donations will be used to help fund the Operation Backpack program, which feeds the children in LaBelle.
“Flowers can make someone’s day, brighten a room or spread a smile,” said Kelli Perkins, of Carlson. “Now they can fight hunger too.” Purchase a Bloomin’ 4 Good Bouquet at the LaBelle Winn-Dixie from October 12-November 30 to help fight hunger. Every bouquet sold will feed 10+ people in need.
