LABELLE - The LaBelle Chamber has scheduled a “Carts and Clubs Golf Tournament” for Oct. 15, 2021. This event will be held at the Veranda Golf Club on their majestic Whispering Oaks Course.
Diane Fidanza, the Executive Director of the LaBelle Chamber, explained that this event is a new event for the Chamber, and its purpose is two-fold. The event will assist in supporting the Chamber in its ongoing efforts to promote and support local economic development. However, what is more important to the Chamber is that this event will enable them to donate a portion of the proceeds to financially support student education.
Business sponsorships are available for this event, and the Chamber is hopeful that our LaBelle businesses will also show their support for student education, and assist the Chamber in reaching their goals. Hole Sponsorships, as well as Bronze, Silver, and Gold Sponsorships are available.
The tournament will consist of 18 holes of golf played with 4 person teams. Sign in on the day of the event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and a shotgun tee-off begins at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held rain or shine.
Following the tournament there will be a delicious luncheon prepared by the Veranda’s chef. Prizes will be awarded to teams for first, second and third place, as well as prizes for “closest to the pin”, male “longest drive”, and female “longest drive”. There will also be a Silent Auction and a 50/50 raffle.
Pre-registration should be made as early as possible, since there will be a limited number of 4 member teams. The cost to participate in the event is $100 per person. Golfers, as well as businesses who wish to be a sponsor for the event, can contact Diane at the Chamber office via e-mail Lchamberofcomm@embarqmail.com or by calling 863-675-0125.
