Help your child build confidence in the water while learning lifesaving skills.
The Florida Department of Health is offering FREE Swimming Lesson Vouchers for eligible Florida families with children ages 1–7.
The program is designed to improve water safety and help prevent childhood drownings by providing access to swim lessons at no cost for qualifying families. Eligibility requirements include Florida residency and income guidelines.
Approved instructors include: Port LaBelle POA, 451 NE Eucalyptus Blvd., LaBelle, 239-275-9622. For scheduling information, contact Cassy Velarde, cvelarde@ymcaswfl.org, 336-681-5481. YMCA curriculum, ages 7 months to 4 years.
