Gilbert Outdoors to hold Fall Festival
OKEECHOBEE — The Gilbert Family of Companies will host a Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gilbert Outdoors, 315 S. Parrott Ave. The festival will feature food, fun, a pumpkin patch, and photo ops.
Library hosts Halloween events
OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee County Public Library, 206 SW 16th St., will host Ghost-themed storytime on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. Enjoy a story, activity, and snacks! On Thursday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m., enjoy a Halloween Puppet Show with ventriloquist Jacki Manna. There will be magic tricks, giveaways and more. Spaces are limited so be sure to call 863-763-3536 to sign up. Call or stop by the library for more information.
Trick or Trot
The Okeechobee County Cattlewomen’s Association will hold the Trick or Trot on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. at the Okeechobee Cattlemen’s Arena, 1885 US 441 North. Free family event.

OCRA hosts Truck or Treat
OKEECHOBEE -- On Thursday, Oct. 30, Okeechobee Citizens Recreation Association will host Truck or Treat at the Okeechobee Sports Complex at 5:30 p.m. Football players and cheerleaders will be in uniform, so costumes are not required.
Halloween Extravaganza is Oct. 31
OKEECHOBEE — The annual Halloween Extravaganza will be held on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:30-8 p.m., at the Agri-Civic Center, 4601 Florida 710 E. Gilbert’s Trunk or Treat is Oct. 31
OKEECHOBEE — Gilbert Chevrolet (3550 US-441), Gilbert Ford (3175 US-441) and Gilbert Outdoors (315 S Parrott Ave) will hold their annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 31 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kids can stop by in their costumes for treats.
Halloween events at Glades County Public Library
MOORE HAVEN — The Glades County Public Library, 201 Riverside Drive, will host a Tiny Tots Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Decorate a sugar pie sized pumpkin and turn in by Friday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. The pumpkin can be silly, fun, spooky or decorated as your favorite character. Judging and display will be done Tuesday, Oct. 28 in the meeting room. You may keep your pumpkin after the contest.
• On Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. is Tiny Tots Storytime “Not-So-Scary Trick or Treat with a costume and pumpkin decorating contest.
• On Thursday, Oct. 30 the library will present a movie “Wicked” and pumpkin painting at 4 p.m.

Riverside Trunk or Treat is Oct. 31
MOORE HAVEN — Riverside Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Riverside Market Moore Haven, 299 Riverside Drive. This is a free event. There will be food, fun and games. For information, call 863-946-0744.

CPD to host Trunk or Treat
CLEWISTON — The Clewiston Police Department (CPD), 205 W Ventura Avenue, will hold their annual Trunk Or Treat on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7-9 p.m. Safe trick-or-treat, decorated trunks and music. For information, call 863-983-1474.
Halloween Trunk or Treat
LABELLE — Olde Florida Motorcoach & RV Resort, 7551 W SR 80, will hold a Trunk or Treat on Friday, Oct. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. Events include Halloween movie on the big screen, trunk or treat, face painting, haunted walk-through, food truck and bar, vendor booths, Halloween treats and costume contest.
Entry: $10 per car OR free with one non-perishable food item per person. Donations will support the local food bank/church during the holidays.

LABELLE — Join Eastside Baptist for an exciting family-friendly event: Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot. Children can go from trunk to trunk collecting treats.
Winn-Dixie to host spook-tacular trunk-or-treat
LABELLE — Winn-Dixie, 906 S. Main St., will host a spook-tacular trunk-or-treat on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 1–4 p.m. Families and little monsters are invited for an afternoon of safe, family-friendly fun with Winn-Dixie and community partners as the parking lot transforms into a spirited Halloween display of trunk and treat stations.
Fall Festival planned
LABELLE — The LaBelle Health and Rehabilitation Center, 250 Broward Ave., will host a fun-filled Fall Festival on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 5-7 p.m. Bring the whole family for candy give-a-ways, delicious food, music, games and local vendors.
FSW to host Boo-ccaneer Bash
LABELLE — Florida SouthWestern State College (FSW) will host its annual Preview FSW Fall Open House and family-friendly Boo-ccaneer Bash on Tuesday, Oct. 28 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the FSW Hendry/Glades Curtis Center, 1092 E. Cowboy Way. The event includes trick-or-treat tours of the campus and program demonstrations, free food, giveaways, and family-friendly activities including face painting and balloon art. Attendees can also receive on-the-spot assistance with admissions, advising, and financial aid. Participants can also enter to win a $1,000 scholarship. Wear your costumes, but no face masks for anyone over 12-years-old. Trick-or-treat bags will be provided.
