LABELLE — Please be advised that, beginning Wednesday, August 11, 2021, Hendry County’s contractor, Zep Construction Inc., will be conducting guardrail work near the intersection of SR 29 and Old CR 78 and along SR 29 in LaBelle. This work is associated with the ongoing sidewalk construction project on Old CR 78 from Kell Mill Boulevard to SR29.
The speed limit will be reduced through the project area.
Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures and allow extra time for their commute.
Flagmen will be present to help direct traffic.
Motorists and pedestrians should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.
The work is expected to have last approximately one (1) day.
Please note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change. The Hendry County Engineering Department will notify the public of any changes.
