Homecoming Week at LaBelle High School

Ladies and gentlemen, there’s no need to fear, Homecoming Week at LaBelle High School is finally here! With Homecoming Week in full swing there are plenty of daytime activities for students to enjoy, and what would Homecoming Week be without some nighttime activities for everyone to enjoy?

Thursday, November 5, at 4:00 is the annual Homecoming Parade that will travel down Main Street and into Barron Park, there will be Class floats, Homecoming Court members, honored alumni, and a few surprises thrown in as well. Come and join in the fun! On the other side of town in the high school at 7:00 the Cowboy Band will be holding a band concert. Come and enjoy the music and support your Cowboy Band!

Friday, November 6, will be bustling with activity. At the end of the school day there will be a pep rally held in the gym with a chance for each class to show who has the most school spirit. At 7:30 will be the annual Homecoming football game will be played. Come watch your Cowboys take on the Moore Haven Terriers. During halftime the Homecoming Court will be introduced and the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned. This night is sure to be special, so don’t miss out!

To wrap up Homecoming Week, the Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, November 6. Students will try to transform the LaBelle High School cafeteria into a special place. This year’s theme is “Hollywood: Red Carpet.” Tickets have been on sale and will be available at the door the night of the event at a cost of $25.00.

The members of Student Government have been working hard to make this the best Homecoming ever. Show your support for LaBelle High School by participating in all of these events.
