During a news conference on the morning of Tuesday, March 17, 2020, DeSantis told the state’s bars and nightclubs they must close for the next 30 days. He also announced that restaurants must reduce capacity by 50% and seat all dining parties at least 6 feet apart, with no more than 10 seated together.

Now, our favorite local restaurants are facing tough financial and safety decisions on whether to continue operating at a reduced level, pivot to takeout-only, or temporarily close, amid concerns over the spread of COVID-19.
