Gov. Ron DeSantis shared an announcement via Social Media. The update was given in a video that featured J Henry, the owner of J Henry’s Barber Shop in downtown Orlando. In the video Henry states that Florida’s hair salons, barber shops and nail salons will be allowed to open on Monday, May 11, 2020. Previously, those businesses were not among those to reopen in the Phase one part of the plan for reopening. There will be strict safety restrictions in place for these businesses.
