FORT PIERCE — Stabilize Revitalize Fort Pierce, Inc. will host the 2nd Annual Pick, Paddle & Play Beach Jam, a free concert and community festival with a free kids’ zone supported by Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County, on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Causeway Cove Marina, 601 Seaway Drive, Fort Pierce. Net proceeds benefit three local nonprofits and will be shared 20% to Friends in Pink, 20% to CareBag and 60% to Stabilize RevitalizenFort Pierce (SRFP). Friends in Pink and CareBag are Treasure Coast organizations that support cancer patients and their families. Admission is free.
Eight acts will perform across two sessions. The Sunrise Session features Steven D. Hunt (10-10:45 a.m.), Positively Fierce (11:05-11:50 a.m.), Ukulele Russ (12:10-12:55 p.m.) and Zoë Ashberg (1:15-2 p.m.). After a break, the Sunset Session features Mangrüve (3:15-4 p.m.), Kairo Reef (4:20-5:05 p.m.), StonyFools (5:25-6:10 p.m.) and headliner Brothers Within (6:30-8 p.m.).
Roger Templeman, executive director of SRFP, will open the show just before Steven D. Hunt’s set and bring Robyn Young of Friends in Pink and Roxy of CareBag on stage. MC Dave Bohman will take over around 11:30 a.m.
Paddleboarding check-in begins at 11 a.m., and paddlers start at 11:45 a.m. The day also includes an auction featuring gift baskets and in-kind donations from local businesses, a Community Resource Village with local nonprofits on site, a skate jam, vendors and food trucks. True Amor Foundation, a Port St. Lucie pediatric heart-health nonprofit, will be on site in the Community Resource Village.
“Beach Jam is a free concert first — a day when the whole Treasure Coast can show up for music, community and neighbors fighting cancer,” said Templeman. “This year the net proceeds are shared by three local nonprofits, so one day at the marina keeps working long after the last song.”
Free tickets can be reserved on Eventbrite, and the full schedule is posted on the SRFP event page.
