OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee County Library, 206 SW 16th St., will be hosting events all summer long! From reading challenges, to magic shows and escape rooms, there is sure to be something for everyone!

• On Thursday, June 6, the Craft Club meets at 1 p.m.

• On Friday, June 7, the "Out of My Hands Juggling & Illusion Show" is at 3 p.m. 

• On Wednesday, June 19, in honor of Juneteenth there will be a special performance, “Roots of Black Music in America”, by Karlus Trapp, at 3 p.m.

• On Wednesdays, June 12 & 26, storytime is at 11  a.m.

• On Friday, July 12, there will be a Percy Jackson Trivia event at 4 p.m. Test your Percy Jackson knowledge and enjoy an afternoon of food, fun and prizes.

• On Friday, July 19, there will be a Reading Road Trip Bash from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate the summer reading program. At this event you will “travel around” the library visiting different booths for free music, games, giveaways, books and more! All participants will also receive a free voucher for a free meal at one of the participating food trucks.

• On Saturdays in June, come and join the Critter Quest Scavenger Hunt! Find all the magical creatures hidden around the library and win a small prize!

• On Saturdays in July, challenge yourself with the Greek Myths & Monsters Escape Room! Test your heroic skills by completing puzzles and escape the room in time to win a small prize.
